Five things worth checking before you reach checkout.
Start with the conditions
Check whether a promotion is limited to new customers, a particular country, a subscription term, or selected products. A large discount is only useful when your purchase qualifies.
Compare the final total
Look at shipping, taxes, recurring charges and minimum spend. Avoid buying something extra solely to cross a threshold unless the final total works for you.
Check at the merchant
Copy the code and review the final price before paying. A listed promotion is not a guarantee of acceptance. If a code fails, check the restrictions and report the issue to help improve the listing.
