What does “verified” really mean?
Source checks and checkout tests tell you different things.
A source is a starting point
A merchant listing or an affiliate feed tells us where information came from. It does not prove that every shopper can redeem the offer.
Read the actual check
A link check confirms that a page is reachable. A checkout test is different: it checks a code against a specific basket and eligibility. We keep those descriptions separate.
Dates and limitations matter
A past check applies to that version of an offer and those conditions. If the terms change, the old check should not be presented as new verification.
